Bash 2011!!!!

As you all know, we're in the middle of a lockout right now, so we can't formally schedule the Bash at this point. Assuming the season starts on time, the hope would be to have the Bash on September 10-11, 2011, for the opening day game against the Philadelphia Eagles (we'll have to dicuss whether Mrs. Alpha and my brother, AvengerEagle, will be allowed to attend!)

If the season is delayed, we'll try to find a different weekend to hold the Bash.

Here's hoping that the NFL and the NFLPA find a quick cure for their mutual cases of CRI (Cranium Rectal Intrusion).

Remember these facts about the Eagles:
1. Aeneas Williams INT of McNabb in 2001 NFCCG.
2. The Eagles have not beat the Rams in the playoffs since 1948.
3. Last year, the Eagles celebrated 50 years of not winning any sort of NFL championship. This will be year 51.
4. Their fight song is stupid. Why would a bird fly down a road?
5. Their greatest champion is a fictional character: Rocky.
6. Many of the Eagles fans you meet will be from Arkansas - trying to show their Philly persona - though most of them have never been east of the Mississippi river.
7. Andy Reid is the NFL universe's version of Jabba the Hutt.
8. Philadelphia is the industry leader in the bell-cracking industry.
9. "Eagled" has almost replaced the word "choked" in the dictionary. Usage: "I almost eagled to death when I crammed half of a cheesesteak in my mouth." The Eagles have lost 4 NFC championship games.
10. Eagles hold the distinction of having the only QB to have puked on the field of play during the Super Bowl.

Do you guys get group tickets or does everyone sit in different spots?

I'm trying to talk the little lady into finding a way for us to go but she thinks we may be a little short on cash.

How much do they usually run? I am pretty sure you can count me in. I just need to know how much to save up for.

They're usually around $80-$90. We get lower bowl seats, typically in the end zone.

Isn't that face value for end zone seats? Only two times I've been the tickets were around 80 each both times in the end zone. I figured they would give a better discount. Anyone tried talking to the rams? They might do something since it is a annual event. Im going either way I missed last year I can't miss this year.

Yeah, it's face value, and yeah, since we're the most diehard fans they they have after the last few seasons, it'd be nice if they cut us a break. Or gave us hats. I'd like a hat. Or to meet some players... and get them to sign my hat. We had our own ticket contact last year, maybe this year they can do a little better,

How much would a luxury box run? $100/person? :D

Maybe they should discount tickets or give us a vip room. I think something could be done by them. We are all die hard fans that bleed blue and gold. We are all in discussion of the Rams all year round not just during the season.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "just go to the game once?" but the Bash is a game where members of the Clan from all over the world try to gather for so that we can all meet up with each other and have an awesome time cheering on our team, mostly in a group(some get their own tickets or have season tickets elsewhere). Seeing that your location is North Carolina, I'm sure that you can understand that not everyone has the ability to go to more than one game a year, and for plenty of people, especially all of our friends from across the pond, even one game a year is difficult.


Usually the home opener tends to be chosen, but this is not always the case(I myself lucked into the Bash date back in 2007 in the middle of the season). Even if there is a team that I really want to see on the schedule, I would much rather go to the Bash game than any other, because the experience is just amazing and it's great to be able to put faces to my friends on the board and then to be able to reconnect with them yearly at the Bash. I've been every year since 2007 and plan on continuing that as long as I can.

Like Teke mentioned, it's not just going to a game, but a ClanRam event. Many people arrive on Friday (as mentiond, from all over the world and US) and get together for drinks, dinner, and more drinks.:D Then on Saturday, many of us cruise around the St. Louis area to malls, shops, and anywhere Rams merchandise is sold. Then Saturday night we have the Bash, where everybody gets together for you guessed it, drinks, as well as dinner, mingling, meeting and generally having an absolute BLAST. Some of the best times I've ever had in my life. The people from this site are the most incredible, fun loving group you could ever meet. Fianally, the game on Sunday, where most of us sit in a section together and generally scream ourselves hoarse.
