    Edward Jones Dome New Features

....as emailed to me by the Rams:

What’s New in 2010 at the Edward Jones Dome

As the St. Louis Rams continue to enhance the game day experience for our fans, below are a couple of the highlights that you will notice this year:

Lower Concession Prices; Healthier Food Options
Every concession stand will offer a "Bundle Value" menu, including: the Bradford Bundle, an $11 value for $8; the Jackson Rush, a $14 value for $11; and the Laurinaitis Crunch an $11.25 value for $9.

We have also introduced a store called the “Grab ‘n Go” located at section 152 that will feature a variety of affordable items starting at $1.50 including: Chex Mix, Granola Trail Mix and Yogurt Bars. Beginning in the regular season, a “Grab ‘n Go” will be added at section 454.

In addition to reducing soda prices, we have added a 12 oz draft beer at select locations for $5.75.

    Family Friendly Emphasis
We have worked with the Edward Jones Dome and our concessionaires to allow fans to bring in their own small zip lock bag of food as well as empty, plastic water bottles. Fans can also bring baby strollers to the game. Once at the game, we are sure that the kids (and adults alike) will enjoy our new mascot, Rampage!

    Enhanced Security Measures
Beginning in 2010, there will be no re-entry to the Edward Jones Dome. Fans who wish to smoke during the game can do so in the Courtyard, which is located near Entry A.

We have also added directional signage near all entrances to help speed up the ingress.

    Here Come the Rams
In an attempt to change our pre-game routine and give the team a fresh start in 2010, we have switched locker rooms and will be entering the playing field through the South tunnel. While the team will be entering from the South tunnel, pre-game warm-ups will take place in the North end zone, in order to accommodate all of our valued fans.

    In-Game Features
While at the game, you will notice improved NFL highlights and scores from the NFL Redzone as well as more player features and graphics on the video boards.

We look forward to exceeding your expectations in 2010 and reminding our community of the joy Rams football can bring to St. Louis. Should you have any questions or comments, feel free to call the fan comment line at 314-516-9646.

    Discuss.

30 reads and not a single comment? Or, did everyone merely call the Rams fan comment line: 314-516-9646?

"in game features".....I like the fact that we will now know what's going on around the league while in the Dome.

Oh yeah and I'll take one Lauranitis Crunch please.....

12 oz draft beer at select locations for $5.75.
The nearest select location is at the liquor store 2 blocks away.

Not bad, never understood why they price items so high in the first place it all evens out, they wll sell more food drinks etc now and keeps fans happier, were as before theyd sell less food but charge more leaving fans unhappy, therefore unlikely to return, and just watch games on tv. Im in the food business and understand the wholesale price they pay, and mark up pay they recieve, they will still make a killing.

The benefit of having a monopoly, and ability to stop people from bringing in their own food, always makes for high prices. Dropping prices probably wouldn't increase sales that much, not enough to be worth the price difference. People will buy either way, and with higher prices, the rams make more money. It's not quite like the restaurant business, the rams don't have competition during the game.

It is too bad that we cannot put a QuikTrip store in the Dome - we have one in the Sprint Center in KC.

It'd be nice if they did away with the red seats to make it feel a bit more like the Rams home.

Did anyone attending the season opener have any observations about the Dome?

Why would anyone want to bring in an empty plastic water bottle? To fill it up at the drinking fountain?

I agree with you. At Lincoln Financial Field, they have the Eagles green seats throughout the stadium. Why we do not have blue chairs is a good question.

Re: Edward Jones Dome New Features

The most impressive improvement at the Dome is the fans! I was at this past game (seahawks) and even if there were around only 35,000 (my estimate) fans the dome was ROCKING. It reminded me of when I saw the Rams at the dome for the NFC championship in 99
