Hello all, just wanting to see if anybody has plans for meeting up both befor the game and maybe even saturday night.
there is myself and my wife attending the game, Majorram and his wife Liz will be about too. I'll admit I dont know the area well (around the stadium) but just fishing for who will be about the night before and who is going to the game!
Where in Cumbria are you? We might be able to go down together :D
Near Whitehaven, but I'm probably going to fly from Newcastle, or train if I can get tickets cheap.

Can't make Saturday night but willing to meet on Sunday before the game, I normally go to green man but looking to go to the official tailgate this year.

The Tailgate, if you can term it as such, doesn't lend itself to a meetup. Maybe a designated pub before the game? Will be heading down on the Sunday, no Saturday for me sadly.
I'll be about on the Saturday night. I'll probably be able to pop into a pub before the game as well.
Can't wait to meet up with some you guys, put names to faces. McNasty is right though the official bashes aren't up to much and beer very expensive.
Where are the best pubs around there to meet up? Anyone familiar with the area know any? I seem to remember The Green Man or something.
