that many professional NFL analyst's say that Steven Jackson is going to be the rushing yard leader this season with 2000+ yards? what do you guys think?
i say 3rd place with 1600

I say he gets 1200 and Faulk gets around 600.

I'd be more inclined to agree with RAM-BO, but I'm not that optimistic. From what I have seen of him, unless he quits dancing in the backfield and realizes he's not Faulk, he will get stopped short many more times than he will break big runs. He's got to play to his strengths, and that is more power running. He has tried to hard to be more finesse, and the Rams haven't done enough so far to improve the run blocking situation, IMHO.

Frankly, I'm not sure I'd want him to lead the league in rushing. I'd rather there be more balance on offense. I would be happy with the following numbers for Jackson:

1,360 yards (85 yards per game)
4.5 yards per carry
48 receptions (3 per game)
408 receiving yards (8.5 per reception)
16 TDs (combined rushing & receiving)

Combine that with Bulger passing for 4,000 yards and 30 TDs, Holt and Bruce having 1,000 yards each, and contributions from Faulk, Curtis, Klopfenstein and Byrd, and you'd have a nice balanced attack.

u have only heard one guy say that? ive actually heard it numerous times from different people.
