Do you think our defence has improved?

We improved just by letting Marmie's wack a$$ go. But yea we signed big Glover, Witherspoon and Chavous...We should be moving up 10-15 spots from what we've been previously ranking the past few years.

Our defense will improve if the following occur

1) Our offense scores more tds in the red zone, creating more chances for the defense to play with a lead, thereby limiting the other teams options
2) We stay healthy-our depth is highly suspect
3) Kennedy steps up big time and stays healthy. He is the key guy on the team at this point defensively. if he doesnt step up, we have no run stuffer at all on the dline. We lost pickett, that production needs to be replaced.
4) hargrove improves
5) Butler returns healthy
6) ty hill can contribute as a rookie
7) Spoon converts effectively to the middle spot\
8) our other young players show some improvement, ie groce, bartell, chillar
9) glover stays healthy (we have no depth at defensive tackle at all)

This is A LOT of ifs folks. At the end of the day, i think our best hope for a materially improved defense is an improved offense.

i totally agree with gc, our defense will feed off of our offense, we will need to score points,touchdowns in the red zone not just field goals.as gc said if our defense plays with a lead and stays HEALTHY,it should be a pretty exciting season.
