Which Rams will go to the Probowl?

I know this is kind of early, but which Rams do you think will go to the Probowl?

I'm saying that Torry Holt, Orlando Pace, Corey Chavous, LaRoi Glover, Will Witherspoon, Steven Jackson, and Marc Bulger (if he stays healthy) will go to the Probowl.

I know thats a lot, but it could happen!

Re: Which Rams will go to the Probowl?

I'd say Glover and Pace definitely because linemen make it on reputation more than stats, even more so than other positions. Pace has been to every Pro Bowl since the 1999 season and Glover every Pro Bowl since 2000. Holt has made every Pro Bowl since 2000 as well, so it's hard to see him missing it unless he gets injured. Bulger has a good shot, too, if he stays healthy.

The truth is the more we win, the more votes our players will get. If we are very successful, I figure Steven Jackson and Leonard Little are good bets. I'd rate Witherspoon, Tinoisamoa, Wilkins, and Pyatt all as long shots but still possible.

I'm not positive but 7 people might tie or break the record for most players in the pro-bowl, we're not the caliber of team.

I don't know what the record is, but the Eagles had 9 selected from the 2004 season: David Akers, Brian Dawkins, Michael Lewis, Donovan McNabb, Terrell Owens, Ike Reese, Lito Sheppard, Tra Thomas, and Jeremiah Trotter. Shepherd and Owens were replaced by injury subs, but Brian Westbrook also made it on as an injury sub, so they had only 8 actually play.

The Steelers also had 9 on the AFC team that year, including Jerome Bettis, Hines Ward, Jeff Hartings, Alan Faneca, Marvel Smith, Aaron Smith, James Farrior, Joey Porter, and Troy Polamalu. When you're winning, players get into the Pro Bowl who wouldn't otherwise. It's a popularity contest.

Re: Which Rams will go to the Probowl?

One of these days, Pace won't make it. He hasn't been as good the last few seasons in my opinion, but it hasn't caught up to him in Pro Bowl voting yet. I also doubt that Glover gets there. If I had to lay odds, I'd put money on Torry but even he almost got screwed last year (if I remember correctly).

So...my guess is between zero and one.

Re: Which Rams will go to the Probowl?

Really could careless about the Probowl...

More interested which players will help us contend for a championship.........

We will know who the best players are. The probowl is no longer a measuring tool for fans or players to guage a players career.

Re: Which Rams will go to the Probowl?

Claude Wroten will huff and puff his way there unlike Jeff Smoker.

Two years ago LSU players dominated the Pats' roster and now they all have rings so one can only dream as the nightmares are still too vivid here in the Aftermath of apathy!

Geaux Claude Geaux!

Puff that Magic Dragon in Adarian's Hollow ....

What would be funny is if Archuleta, Pickett and Damione Lewis make it.
