  • Favorite NFL game?

anyone got a fave football game?

Mine was TV Sports football from the late 80's on the Atari ST.

You could change all the team and player name to your liking.

You could also juggle player stats to make them quicker or stronger the first game of its type to do so.

I was unstoppable with clint eastwood at quaterback!!

Another great football games we should check out?

It's always been Madden for me, ever since it first showed up on the Sega Megadrive.
I've tried the other games, but I always come back to big John and his annoying comments time after time.#

I admit I'm not a huge gamer. I have an old PS1 and Madden '03. I'm in my 21st season of the franchise mode on that with the Rams. It's great, but I have been debating spending a couple of hundred and getting a PS2 and a more current Madden (either '05 now or wait until the end of summer and get '06).

So I was curious, how much different would the '05 on a PS2 be from the '03 on my PS1?
The more things change, the more they stay the same.

i rarely use my pc to game, as a decent graphics card will cost as much as a console itself, and consoles are true, 'plug and play'. Although a top spec pc is always going to be better, i have no other need for one than games, so i stick with my xbox!

I know we all love the ClanRam,but what else do you like to do otherwise.

I love photography, but I dont get much time for it.
wood working is another love, but it seems like all I do lately is home repairs, but I also build certain types of furnishings that I sell.

I also do some computer building, but thats been for mainly just friends, someday I hope it makes a $ profit instead of what I call six pack jobs.

                  John Madden sucks!
                  by jjfehr
Is it just me, or is this guy just the worst thing to happen to football. I get so sick of hearing his mouth all game long! He has nothing to say that isn't common knowledge. I would have loved to watch the rest of the game today, however, I had to shut it off because I was sick of hearing hsi fat mouth! I would love to get this guy out of the booth so I can enjoy football again. Anyone with me?

Past and present, what are yours?

One of my favorites has to be the best name ever for a quarterback: Chuck Long. I don't know much about his real world NFL career, but on Tecmo Super Bowl, I loved putting him in when I needed a last second long ball. He lofts it perfectly for Henry to make a jump catch.
