Isn't that wild - the highest face value ticket is $18? No guesses on the year, huh?

I cheated and checked schedules all the way back until the first year in LA and cannot figure it out, so maybe a 1957?

        Great question AlphaRam.

1983 is my answer and I'm sticking to it.

Can't be because the Rams moved into Anaheim stadium in 1980!! My guess will be this is the opening season @ Anaheim , seems to be possible for prices in 1979. Possibly promotion for people to see the Rams opening season?

Good answer to stick to big guy, because you're right. I actually went to the Buffalo game that year and remember that half the crowd was rooting for the Bills. That crowd split always happened when a NY team came to Anahiem. They were disappointed though because the Rams killed them 41-17, with Dickerson having a great game. $18 seemed like a lot back then, and Rams games for me during those years were a luxury.

              You are correct, sir!

I have been looking through some Gameday books from back in the 80's that I stumbled across when I was looking for something else. I'll see if I can scan and share some other stuff from that time.

Do you mean that this happened in LA like it does in STL. Perish the thought!

Hey, I know of one not-too-fanatical fan (is there such a thing?) that swears up and down that the stands were at least 80% full of Rams fans while they were in LA. That's why he thinks the team should move back there...when I asked how full the stands were in the early 90's, he said he doesn't know exactly how many people were there because he had already moved away, but he knows the stadium was always full.

I'm sure it was. Just not while the Rams were playing.;)

Hint: Glenn Davis played college ball at Army.

I was not a member before last years draft, so i was wondering what the consensus was concerning the Rams picks.
Like this year there is a few specific players that always come up in people's mocks, even in later rounds.
who were you guys talking about one year ago?

                            by r8rh8rmike
Is the new bag policy a non-issue? I really thought it would be troublesome, but I have not heard about any problems what so ever. I'm curious because I'd like to be prepared to go early if need be.

There are a lot of big questions floating around this offseason. Which are you most anxious to see answered?
Will the Rams be sold, and to whom?

In what direction are the Rams moving?
                            by AvengerRam_old
                            Relatively simple question.

Right now, do you see the Rams moving forward, moving backwards, or not moving at all?
                            Forward
                            48.89%
                            22
                            Backwards
                            20.00%
                            9
                            Not moving at all.
                            31.11%

The question I'm not quite ready to answer.
                            by AvengerRam_old
Its getting close to that time again...

In a few weeks, we'll be talking about training camp, preseason, and opening day.

At this point, I think the roster is pretty much set. Maybe the Rams will make a late move to bring back Quintin Mikell but, aside from that, I'm not expecting any significant transactions.

So... am I ready to answer that question....

                            You know the one...

How many games with the Rams win this year?

                            I'm not ready.

Certainly, I think the team should be improved. Offensive continuity, the addition of speed and playmakers on both sides of the ball, the development of young players... all of these things point the arrow up.

But does that mean the Rams will go from 7.5 wins to 8... 10.... more?

Here's my best answer right now.

I believe that the Rams have enough talent on their roster to win 10 games. And, because I believe that, I also regard the Rams as a playoff contender.

Maybe, in the end, I'll cop out a little and just predict 8-10 wins. That seems to me to be a fairly safe bet.

But, before I give my final number, I want to read a few camp reports (though they must be taken with a large grain of salt), watch a preseason game or two, and read up on the competition.

So, I'll get back to you in about 6 weeks with my final answer.

For now... I'm starting to get that feeling again...
