    NEW YORK – The list of eligible free agents has been released by the Arena Football League today. The free-agent contact date and signing period will be announced at a later date. As of today, 232 free agents are eligible to be signed by one of the AFL’s 19 teams.



    The list of free agents includes: three former Ironman of the Year (RANDY GATEWOOD, DAMEON PORTER and BARRY WAGNER), four former Offensive Player of the Year (MARK GRIEB, CHRIS JACKSON, CALVIN SCHEXNAYDER and Wagner), two former Lineman of the Year (TOM BRIGGS and ROBERT STEWART), two former Kicker of the Year (BRIAN GOWINS and CLAY RUSH), two former Rookie of the Year (Jackson and TRAVIS McGRIFF), three ArenaBowl MVP (Grieb, CONNELL MAYNOR and LAWRENCE SAMUELS) and two ArenaBowl Ironman (Samuels and Wagner) award winners.
