LOS ANGELES LAKERS, 16 NBA TITLES!!!

FINALLY!! Beating the hated Celtics in a game 7! That was one of the most nerve wracking games I've ever watched, no lead seemed safe. Great gut check by the Lakers when it counted most, coming back from 13 down in the 3rd. Ron Artest was amazing, as was Gasol. Kobe did just enough.

All is right with the world!!

That was fun to watch. There's no place like home. The Lakers were literally flying around tonight and guys were THROWING IT DOWN. They need to give it the same effort one more time because the Celtics are not going to roll over two games in a row. That's all I dare say for now.

still got faith in the Lakers turning this round tho..its in our house afterall...imagine how bad they would feel if they didn`t win the title now..

    Go Lakers!!!

The Celtics are definitely taking it to the Lakers. LA has not been good in the second half and seem to get tight in crunch time. I hope they can get it together tonight and make it to a game 7. Watching Boston win another NBA Title would be too much to take. GO LAKERS!!!!!
I'm with you Mike. "HATE" is an understatement in my book but have to keep it clean here at the Clan.

Rondo needs to be alot more productive then last night for the celts to have a chance. If Garnnett can outplay gasol for the rest of the series I see the celts winning in 6. Otherwise Lakers take it in 5.

Nice win by the Lakers last night. Beat the Celtics at their own game. This is going to be a great series!

Don't worry, I think the Celtics ran out of gas playing Cleveland. Orlando is a better team than Cleveland, especially with Jameer Nelson at the point. After banging for 6 straight games against LeBron, and now have to face Dwight Howard, the Celtics age will show.

    Who are you routing for?

Los Angeles Lakers and since the Los Angeles Kings didn't make it, the Boston Bruins for me. As a matter of fact the Bruins are the only Boston/New England team I like at all.

Mark My Words - Rams "WILL" make Playoffs!
    by Curly Horns
Yes it is early and I predicted the same thing before the start of last season. But hey, as you all know, our Rams took it down to the wire and came up one game short.

    So, my prediction was close.

In light of that, I am raising the bar for this year.

Our Rams will not only make the playoffs, they will also win at least one playoff game!

    There you have it.

    Now...

    LETS GO RAMS!!

    NBA playoffs

For those interested, we can chat about the playoffs. The Lakers and Suns are heading into OT after Tim Thomas buried a game tying 3 with 5 sec to go. I am sure RF16 is on pins and needles.

If the Lakers clinch tonite, they will play the Clippers in the second round. Who would have thought that the Clips might actually be favored over the Lakers.LOL

    NHL Playoff Question
    by UtterBlitz
Hey guys, I have been watching the Capitals this year but I don't know a lot about hockey. They are in the playoffs right now and I was wondering how it works.

They played the Flyers last night and won 5 to 4 and looking at the schedule it appears that they are going to play them 6 more times. I assume that all of the teams that are playing each other play 7 times and the one who wins the most games continues on? I would assume then that there is a second round of the playoffs?

Can someone please explain the playoffs to me? How many rounds are there? How long does this go on for?

    Thanks.
