Robinson is off of the IR list, but not clear if activated. If he is back, that might mean sloman is cut and it would be a huge add for our run defense if he can play.

Rams whacked by whiners 24-16; The Good, Bad and Ugly

The Rams really laid an egg on Sunday Night Football, losing to a badly injured whiners squad 24-16 in a critical division matchup and dropping their record to 4-2. This was a night of horrific play calling, badly messed up execution, no functional defense for half the game, terrible red zone play and an assortment of other problematic issues. Given their personnel, the whiners played well, but this was really a story of self inflicted wounds, and as bad as the Rams played, they still should have won the game in the second half. The question will be how the squad rallies from this horrible performance in the two upcoming games against chicago and miami before the bye week.

The Good

Henderson was excellent. 14-88 and showed burst whenever he had any blocking. Team running game was 19-113, but of course, McVay did not utilize the run enough.
The offensive line allowed zero sacks.
Kiser had 13 tackles.
Great td throw to woods and terrific catch
Great td throw and catch for 40 yards to Reynolds to close the gap at the end
Perfect long throw by goff to woods who dropped it
One nice tackle for loss for Floyd
Webster showed some spark as a punt returner. McVay proceeded to remove him from the role later in the game.
The D played well in the second half, allowing only three points. The fact that Mosert went out at half sure helped. Not to get too excited, the whiners had two brutal drive killing third down drops.
Hekker punted wll
Nice run by Goff for a first down. That is available to him frequently and well i dont want to see him running all the time, i think he can use his legs better at times rather than forcing balls into coverage, especially on third and relatively short.
In short, not a ton of good in this game

The Bad

Goff did not play well in this game. He could have looked a lot better if he had help from his receivers, but he was not good in this game despite not being sacked. Early, he missed a wide open kupp on the right side for a 20 plus yard gain. The long throw to kupp should have been caught by kupp, but the throw could have been a lot better. Goff has been doing a great job all year dumping off to the backs and secondary receivers. His reads in this game were awful and he never dumped the ball to henderson. He had higbee open all game long and only completed two passes to him. He continues to try and force the ball downfield instead of taking what the defense is giving him. His audibles were lousy. Not a good game. Needs better judgment. I actually think he was going to rally us to the win because the whiners offense was DOA in the second half but Kupp really killed us with the end zone drop. He did make some nice throws, but overall, he would be the first to tell you that he has to play better.
