  • Dan Lefevour

CMU is playing Ball State tonight. They are never really on tv, so this is somewhat of an audition for him to show casual fans his skill set. Ball State obviously isn't a top defense, so he will probably have a nice game.

Yea Dilfer was great wasn't he.

Dan made a couple nice plays with his legs, and I didn't see him make a bad decision the entire game. I like how he is always looking downfield when he scrambles, and only runs after he has looked at all the options possible before he is in danger of taking a sack.

He is also leading his team to an 80% touchdown efficiency in the redzone. Pretty good number.

He is running a spread against MAC teams, so I'm not sure how scouts compare him to other QB prospects. Bill Polian (Colts GM) was on the Chippewas sideline and talking to the coach a few times, which was also interesting.

I like LeFevour. If we decide to not get Clausen in the first, I want us to get LeFevour.

He's a spread QB. If you want a spread QB, what's so great about this one?

He's definitely a guy I'm keeping my eye on.

I think come draft time the question will be... how good will the QB options be in Round 2? If they are favorable, that might be a good reason to go in another direction in Round 1 (Suh, G.McCoy, Spiller, Bryant, etc.).
