  • Eric Berry, Safety, UT

I'm very high on this kid, I absolutely LOVE his game. Big hits, great interceptions, playmaking, disciplined, credentials, stats.

I wouldn't be one bit against drafting him in the Top of the Draft this year and letting OJ Atogwe walk.

He holds the All-Time SEC record for interception return yards, always around the ball, knocking people out, picking it off, hitting behind the line of scrimmage... He's a player, straight up.

i like him and we could do that, but how much better is he than atogwe? good enough to pass on suh, mccoy, or a qb?

People speculate he's the next Ed Reed. (Speculate).

So unless people speculate that Suh and McCoy are the next Kevin Williams or something, I think that Berry is as talented as McCoy and Suh, and maybe even better.

The only thing that is really stopping us to take him IMO, is the lack of need of him. He's not really needed. We have O.J. Eric Berry is more of a "want". But if Suh and the best ranked QB is off the board, (probably Clausen), then I wouldn't mind taking Berry.

I think OJ will be a Ram for a while. I think this year's crop of QB's are going to be good. It'd be foolish to not snag one this year.

It would be a great pick if we needed him but i dont see us drafting a saftey, OJ wants to be in STL and Butler will be under contract for a few years. THey are both good safteys so i dont think we really have a problem there. IS there anyone that is gonna be the next deion sanders? I would like to take him.

Ridiculous, we need difference maker's if we want to be respected. If he is the BPA then he should be took. O.J and Butler are expendable in my opinion.
How can you pass up an ED REED, future HOF.
Glad you dont pull the strings at Rams Park.

According to the new edition of JT Chat, Jim Thomas is on record saying that pound for pound, some see Berry as the BPA in this draft.
