Do any of you guys know much about him? I've seen a few impressive things from him. Could he be picked up late in the draft?

Re: 6'8'' Wesley Lyons - WR - West Virginia
He's had a hard time making an impact for the Mountaineers, for a couple of reasons. One, he's had some injuries to work through. Two, I'm not sure he was ever really as focused as he has been this season. But perhaps the biggest thing is that I don't think he was ever a great fit in an offense that seemed to feed off of the speed and agility of a Jock Sanders more than it did slower, bigger players.
I think Wes is going to have a tough time making it in the NFL, because while he certainly has the height, I don't think he's going to be able to separate well at the next level. He doesn't run particularly strong routes; at least one of his poor routes resulted in one of Jarrett Brown's interceptions against Auburn earlier this year. You'd think such a tall guy would be a great weapon in the red zone, but I don't believe Lyons has ever caught a touchdown pass for the Mountaineers.
Maybe with a quality receivers coach in a more pro-style offense he could make an impact, but I haven't seen enough from him during his time @ WVU to convince me he's going to do much in the NFL.
