      Av's Pre-Combine Rams Draft Board (Version 3.0) - Top 30 Prospects!
      by AvengerRam_old
      Time for another update...

I've increased my list to 30 players, which means that the Rams could have an opportunity to select 3 or maybe even 4 of the players on this list.

I've added Jadeveon Clowney and Anthony Barr. While I would not take either with the 2nd pick in the draft, at some point, if the Rams were to move down, I could see considering them.

This list could, of course, change dramatically after the Combine.

      1. Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M (Sr) 6’5, 305
      2. Greg Robinson, OT, Auburn (rSo) 6’5, 320
      3. Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson (Jr) 6’1, 205
      4. Jadeveon Clowney, DE, South Carolina (Jr) 6’5,274
      5. Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M (rSo) 6’5, 225
      6. Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan (rSr) 6’7, 315
      7. Anthony Barr, OLB, UCLA (Sr) 6’4, 248
      8. Darqueze Dennard, CB, Michigan State (Sr) 5’11,197
      9. Hasean Clinton-Dix, S, Alabama (Jr) 6’1, 206
      10. Calvin Pryor, S, Louisville (Jr) 6’2, 208
      11. Justin Gilbert, CB, Oklahoma State (Sr) 6’0, 200
      12. Zack Martin, OT/OG, Notre Dame (Sr) 6'4, 305
      13. Timmy Jernigan, DT, Florida State (Jr) 6’2, 298
      14. RaShede Hagerman, DT, Minnesota (rSr) 6’6, 311
      15. David Yankey, OG, Stanford (Jr) 6’5, 312
      16. Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida State (rSo) 6’5, 235
      17. Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech (Sr) 6’0, 194
      18. Aaron Donald, DT, Pittsburgh (Sr) 6’1, 288
      19. Cyrus Kouandjio, OT, Alabama (Jr) 6’5, 210
      20. Deone Buchannon S, Washington State (Sr) 6’1, 215
      21. Louis Nix, DT, Notre Dame (rJr) 6’2, 345

Av's 2014 Rams Draft Board (Top 20 Prospects), Version 1.0
      by AvengerRam_old
Here is my current list of the top 20 prospects for the Rams. Due to my view of the Rams' current needs, you won't find any QBs, RBs, TEs, DEs or LBs on this list. As there are several players at those positions that will be taken in the first round, some of the players on this list could be available when the Rams select in Round 2 (which could mean that the Rams might have a shot at three of these players).

So, here is my pre-bowl games Version 1.0 Rams Draft Board:

      1. Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M
      2. Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan
      3. Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson
      4. Louis Nix, DT, Notre Dame
      5. Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M
      6. Cameron Erving, OT, Florida State
      7. Cyrus Kouandjio, OT, Alabama
      8. Hasean Clinton-Dix, FS, Alabama
      9. Darqueze Dennard, CB, Michigan State
      10. Louichiez Purifoy, CB, Florida
      11. RaShede Hagerman, DT, Minnesota
      12. Justin Gibert, CB, Oklahoma State
      13. Cyril Richardson, OG, Baylor
      14. Davante Adams, WR, Fresno State
      15. Marquise Lee, WR, USC
      16. Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, CB, Oregon
      17. Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech
      18. David Yankey, OG, Stanford
      19. Jordan Matthews, WR, Vanderbilt
      20. Travis Swanson, C, Arkansas

      The Fantastic Four?
      by lordwhttgr
After watching the game again and remembering how well they played against Seattle, I have come to the conclusion we need to name our defense, but somehow the fearsome foursome does not quite fit. It's hard to compare this years unit with a unit I have never seen live as I would have been just out of diapers when they played. So I propose a new name. One that is fitting and hip with the times.

I give you the Fantastic Four.
      Chris Long
      Robert Quinn
      Kendall Langford
      Michael Brockers

      GO RAMS!!!

(KSDKSports) -- Luck had three interceptions and backup Matt Hasselbeck one, withthree coming in the red zone. The Rams had another three sacks, all bydefensive ends Robert Quinn (two) and Chris long (one).

Most of the Rams' pressure came fromtheir front four without blitzing.

Said Fisher,"It showed in the first half when they were in the hurry up, but they wereplay-action passing with basic offensive personnel, just for protection. And wemade some adjustments and still got there. We put really good pressure on him(Luck). He's an outstanding quarterback. It was a tough week for the wholedefensive staff watching him play."
As for thesuccess in the red zone, Fisher reiterated, "Pressure. I think pressure. When the lead gets to where it is they can't settle for threes. So, they'retrying to force a ball in there."
