  • NFL Stats & Reference Thread

I am often very impressed with the wealth of knowledge and stats that many clan members bring to the clanram on a regular basis. And I find myself wondering where in the heck they find all of the little tidbits that make for their strong arguments based upon facts.

I'm hoping that many of you who know where to find these gems of factoids will share where we can reference such material. As the end of the season comes and we begin our journey into the offseason I'm hoping to find out, for example, where can we find the "draft trade value" chart, the "Salary Cap" chart, the "Free Agency" chart of available players, just to name a few. I'm sure there are a lot more and please feel free to list them here. Please give a description of what will be found at your reference.

Unless the mods make an exception to allow you to post those links here, you'll probably need to just post the website address. Maybe the mods could tell us their preferences about that.

Anyway, I think it would be a great resource for more of the clan members to engage in a higher level of communication about our Rams and the NFL as a whole. If you are one that has this type of info, please feel free to share with the rest of us.

***EDIT*** To get the ball rolling, I will be giving rep to every member's 1st legitimate reference that is not a duplicate of someone else's. The rep will be availabale until the start of the Rams last game of this year. A little rep back for the idea will be greatly appreciated!

    GO Rams!!!

      It's a start!

I was thinking more along the lines of having them all consolidated into one thread.

Here a couple I found about free agents:

              profootball.scout .com/a.z?s=127&p=9&c=12&nid=83&lnid=83&yr=2009

              kffl .com/static/nfl/features/freeagents/fa.php?option=By+Team&y=2010

              Just move the ".com" back.

What's up...nobody wants any free rep? Sheesh...you can't give the stuff away.

This may have already been posted somewhere else, but I just noticed that the Rams have scored the most points in the NFC West and allowed the fewest. I need for our stat historian freaks to tell me the last time that has happened through 4 weeks.

How many of the emails do you get that state they have a fortune that they need to work with you to give it to you? I have gotten a ton of them. Tonight, I decided to respond back as an interested person. I replied with the email below. Now hold on before you try calling good ol AlphaRam, the contact information is for an agent at the FBI in OKC. I will keep you guys posted on the details if it develops further.

Next, who has dealt with pesky telemarketers? Well, I found out about a comedian that gives telemarketers fits! His name is Tom Mabe. Check out these two youtube audio bits.

                    Rams (& NFL) in Germany?
                    by markusm
                    Clan,
I am living in Germany for the next 8 months on a teaching assignment in Heidelberg. Does anyone know what options there are for me to follow the Rams (and other games) live on TV or radio or internet video/radio? Obviously, I can follow here and on news sites, but I am feeling severe football (and especially RAMS) withdrawals for the first time in 35 years!
                    Rams fans in Europe?

                    Thanks!

                    Dr. Markus
