  • Senior WRs

I see the Juniors WRs being drafted in the 1st round. Those guys are Dez Bryant, Golden Tate, and Arrelious Benn. At the top of the second after selecting Suh I think 2 senior WRs at this point give you more value than McCoy or Pike. Those 2 guys are Mardy Gillyard and Brandon LaFell. Both are big time playmakers, both had 11 touchdowns this year. Lafell is the bigger more physical guy and is a terror in the redzone. Gillyard is the more explosive athlete. Both are dangerous with the ball with their hands and have serious number 1 wideout potential. I would love to have either. Another good thing about grabbing one of them is you could probably sit tight and possibly get McCoy or Pike at the top of the third. Worst comes to worst you can use one of the extra picks to move up and get one of those guys.

    Re: Senior WRs

I don't know about you guys, but from watching the WR's this season compared to last season it isn't a great crop coming out.

There is one guy who really made an impression on me.

Mizzori's Danario Alexander. This guy will fly up the draft board.

I really think we should consider him at 2nd and 3rd round picks.

Obviously, I don't think we are taking a WR with pick 1 but this kid can really play.

I think the combine will allow him to become a legit WR prospect.

He plays well on turf and has overcome injuries to prove him one tough kid.

I really don't know why he is projected earlier.

Sorry but unless McCoy and Pike have a combine comparable to the 10 year old champion of the Punt, Pass and Kick competition this year, no way do they last to the third round. I do like Gillyard.

        Re: Senior WRs

As I've said for quite some time now.....

        1. Suh
        2. BQBA
        3. Danario Alexander, WR, 'Zou
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
