  • Suh the next Reggie White??

I will die if the Rams dont pick this kid in April, watching the tape on him and hearing distingiused people drool over this kid, im so happy we have that first pick. THe man is a freak and will cause havoc whereever you put him on the line. Though DE is something he has never played, he is athletically good enough?

Reggie White was an exceptional talent on many levels. I had the pleasure of meeting RW when he was still in high school, and no player had more talent or was more of a natural leader than Reggie, even at the age of 17. I would wait until Suh has played a few years in the NFL before I would begin to compare him with RW. Suh appears to be physically comparable, but he has still has much to learn.

I totally agree. Those are some big shoes to fill.

I don't like it when people get ahead of themselves before a player even plays a down in the nfl. I mean just look at the hype when Reggie Bush was entering the draft people were ready to throw him in the hall of fame before he even played a down in the nfl.

Reggie is a good player, but common he still had trouble running downhill. Altough I see him making a couple of pro bowls he is not making the Hall of Fame.

As for house of spears the guy looks really good and I think he represents the lowest risk of being a bust. However knock on wood he could come in and just be a complete bust at the next level. I question his weight. As a nose tackle. I like those big boys 330lbs plus and Ndamukong weighs 290. How about when he goes up agains those elite centres in the Nfl with the left guard combo each weighing approx. 320 plus.

Just a thought of hold your horses as much as I am drulling over the guy as well. I wrote a whole piece about the guy in another thread. I think he is going to be something special however lets not get ahead of ourselves here.

      Go Rams :helmet:

Just saw Darnell Docket play fullback for the Cardinals, which lead to a touchdown.

If Suh can do that, he's a dream come true.

well in our 4-3 defense i dont see him playing nose tackle anyway. You forget we have Clifton Ryan and Adam Carriker as well. Hell most likely be playing under tackle (which is what he especially excels at) and most likely to cause the most damage.

Ive said it in every Suh thread and ill say it again lol, Long, Suh, CArriker/Ryan, and a possible Leonard Little/Hall/ or another talent at LE and the possibilities for this line is scary

Well IMO Carriker is too small to play that nose tackle position and just to let you know the N.T plays beside the right end.

As for him playing beside Clifton Ryan and even Darrell Scott who I believe was playing nose tackle beside Clifton Ryan neer the end of the season. Having one of those two with Ndamukong Suh would be sick.

Suh is a wonderful talent, but to me, much like the Kobe/LeBron vs Michael Jordan debate... the league has changed so much the last few years, that it's hard to compare him to Reggie White.
