Love the guy, would really like to grab him if he were younger, but he is past his prime by this age. I say we just grab weatherspoon and get the same kind of player. Same attitude same ability, just younger.

he`s a 3-4 backer..not a good fit. whoever gets him gets unwanted baggage..not a good fit. he`s old...not a good fit.

Would he make our 2010 defense better?
Its hard to argue against that.

Is he going to make the Rams a better team in the long run?
More likely it would just set us back with what it would cost us.

We need to stick to our guns and build through the draft, we can't afford shelling out picks and money to players on the decline of their careers, even if they would make our team temporarily better.

I know I was talking bout sean witherspoon to the eagles...porter pretty much is him at this point of his career..but older

We got rid of Will Witherspoon, i'd prefer Sean Weatherspoon over Porter too but if he isn't there in the 2nd round.

If he was released, I wouldn't mind bringing him on a 2-3 year contract, but I wouldn't trade for him.
