I been wanting Derek here for the longest time since about January, think it would be a good fit...Just as long as he isn't wanting a billion dollar contract...Think it's our best option and to go BPA first pick
I definently think we should take a shot at him. He will probably not be too expensive, is younger, and is pretty good.
Even if he isn't good, he can be a 1 year save. Allowing us to pick Suh this year, and im assuming since he does bad we will be picking top 5 next year, allowing us to get Jake Locker.
And if he works out ( good potential ) we can be thankful.
What is so good about Anderson? I saw one good year out of him and then lots of suck. Some of that of course is the falt of his coach, but the rest looked like him not being nearly as good as people say. What's with this "Let's just draft in the top 5 next year and get Jake Locker" thing I keep seeing? I don't *want* to draft in the top 5 next year. If we do, we won't have the same front office. Have fun with that thought.

How does Suh improve our offense exactly? Our offense last year killed our defense, it was on the field all game...that's why you kept seeing games where it was close until midway through the third or fourth quarter, the defense was exhausted.
A good defense can help an offense by putting it in better field position, but that offense has to be able to make use of that...and it showed several times last year that it couldn't in fact do that. Bradford may not be the answer, but how can you possibly say he's just another bust before he's even been in an NFL level practice?
If we need weapons before we get a quarterback...where are we getting those weapons? By drafting defensive linemen every year in the first round?
I will buy that Suh can and will improve our defense, I will not buy that we will suddenly have a better offense because of it, or that it will help our offense.
We need weapons yes, but eventually we also need to have someone to actually throw to them...and you know before this season Bradford was supposed to be "the guy" and then a year went by and now people are calling him a bust before he's played a game.
So what's to keep Locker from doing the same? What's to keep him from getting a career ending injury in college? You can't rely on the draft *next year* to fix problems we have now.
Should the Rams take Bradford? I don't know, maybe there is a good quarterback to be found in the second round...I do know that if we suck again, and do so because we didn't improve our offense at all, we likely won't have the same people running this team.

Ah, the predays before the draft. Why do we all pounce on every player that gets released. The Browns have seen more of Anderson then we have, and they let him go because he has sucked since the anomaly that was 2007. What makes you think he can come here and be any better?
I think this is all just people on the board wanting to draft Suh so bad they are willing to sign anyone so that this can happen.
The Bradford=bust talk is the same unfounded ignorance and bias that you see every year when a team has a high pick and its fans speculate on who they should get.
Im not saying Bradford is a bust, but Suh has much of a better chance of being a star.
At least our D is ok. Our offense is horrific and if we throw Bradford back there, nothing will change.
And yes I read something earlier, I suggested taking Anderson because I want Suh. Where is all the talk about Bradford being "best QB in 32 years", or some kind of special talent.
Suh gets those comments, I have not heard any of that about Bradford.
All im saying is that I want Suh. I do not think Anderson will be succesful and yes I agree last season he was so bad it was unbelievable.
