  • Ultimate Trade Down Scenario (DREAM NOT SUPER REALISTIC)

Browns president Mike Holmgren said Monday that he likes Sam Bradford "a lot" and isn't opposed to trading up in the draft to pick him.
"It would take a trade up," Holmgren said, admitting that there's next to no chance Bradford would fall to Cleveland at No. 7. "(That discussion) is still to come." Holmgren apparently wasn't asked his opinion of Jimmy Clausen
Could you imagine a trade like: 1.07, 2.07 and 3.28 for 1.01, 6.01 and 7.01? Imagine how quickly a draft like this could turn our team around? Imagine how many little Rams would get wood in this scenario:

    1.07- Derrick Morgan- DE
    2.01- Kyle Wilson- CB
    2.07- Demaryius Thomas- WR
    3.01- Dan LeFevour- QB
    3.28- Dexter McCluster- RB/PuntR/KR/Offensive Weapon
    4.01- Trade for Tony Scheffler-TE
    5.01- Dekoda Watson- OLB
    5.24- AJ Edds- OLB
    7.24- Will Barker- RT

I see 5 immediate starters there (Morgan, Wilson, Scheffler, Watson, Edds), a future WR1, a future average starting QB, a very dangerous back-up RB and playmaker and depth at T.

There are tons of trade posibilities.

    Try this trade posibility.

Rams trade #1 pick to the Bucs for there first pick (#3 overall) & there 2nd 2nd rd pick #10 (from DA Bears).

Then make the trade to the Browns #3 overall to #7 and there 2nd rd pick #6.

Then OT A. Barron to the Bears for TE Greg Olson.

Round 1 (#7) DE Derrick Morgan
Round 2 (#33) RB Jahvid Best
Round 2 (#38) WR Demaryius Thomas
Round 2 (#42) OT Jared Veldheer
Round 3 (#65) QB Dan LeFevour
Round 4 (#97) OLB Dekota Watson
Round 5 (#01) OT Mike Tepper
Round 5 (#24) OLB AJ Edds
Round 6 (#01) TE Scott Sicko
Round 7 (#01) DE Clifton Geathers
    Round 7 (#24) S Kam Chancellor

      nice!!!!

insert Pike instead of LeFevour (or another QB -- really hate LeFevour's game) and its far and away best I've seen ., thats not mine., lol

      cheers !!!!

I think a trade with the browns is probable, I think they are desperate for a #1 Qb and are in a bad spot in the draft to get one. Although in that scenario my mock would look like this:

        1.07 -Dez Bryant WR
        2.01 -Sean Weatherspoon OLB
        2.07 -Brian Price DT
        3,01 -Aaron Hernandez TE
        3.07 -Brandon Ghee CB
        4.01 -Ben Tate RB
        5.01 -Jordan Shipley WR
        5.24 -OL depth
        7.24 -OL depth

IDK man, I would probly go with a TE in rounds 2 or 3.
