Well, I see that Mr. HUbison has the first pick in the Mod's draft.

Therefore I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict that he will, in fact, select Ndamakong Suh.

Its kinda hard to explain. You can call it a premonition or just a gut feeling, but I feel pretty confident that this will happen.;)

FAIL. He selected Sam Bradford, the right selection at one.

Not exactly the tone we were looking for in this discussion thread...

Anyways, the Chiefs are up and their decision could really shape the next couple of picks. Do they go with the best player on the board in Tennessee's Eric Berry? Or do they help protect Matt Cassel by fortifying their offensive line with Bryan Bulaga? Or does RamsFanSam have something else up his sleeve?

I think KC has to take Baluga. Berry is a beast, but they have to build around Cassel IMO.

Honestly I think the Cheifs might take Iupati with this pick. Jamal Charles bust out on the seen this year and now with the addition of Jones they need a dominant force at guard to open holes right up the middle.

The biggest hurdle there is that guards aren't a premium position and thus aren't drafted high in the first round. But in Kansas City's case, they signed Ryan Lilja to possibly start at guard for them in 2010. And if they draft a tackle, they could always move Branden Albert inside to guard where he played in college, thus improving two positions for the price of one.

Wow. Three sooners in the first 5 picks!

                It could happen.

The smart pick for the Chiefs would be Bulaga.

I think they could also go for Dez Bryant, to give Cassel some weapons.

Eric Berry wouldn't be bad either, but Scott Pioli loves positional value.

                    Nvm then.

Seahawks would benefit from a lot of players.

                    Clausen.
                    Berry.
                    Haden.
                    Campbell.
                    Bulaga.

Is there something I'm missing here? That wasn't that good of a team. Or has Bob Stoops transformed into the Chuck Amato of the Great Plains, wherein he too magically parlays 1st Round talent into disappointment, mediocrity, and heartbreak?

                        Well...

They were missing a certain QB for most of the season.

Ummm.....I doubt Oklahoma would have gone undefeated last season, especially in light of Bradford starting both the BYU and Texas losses. And an undefeated season would have been needed to play for the championship.

                              Um...really?

Bradford was gone for the second half of the BYU game, and he only played 2 drives in the Texas game before he went down...

I don't see how your post makes any relevancy.

Also, after his first injury, he came back after three weeks and absolutely torched Baylor with 389 throwing yards and 1 TD.
