According to Jason La Canfora, eight players have confirmed they will be attending the NFL Draft when it begins Thursday 22nd April. The list of confirmed players is as follows:
Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska
Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma
Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State
Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech
Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma
Dan Williams, DT, Tennessee
Eric Berry, S, Tennessee
Jared Odrick, DT, Penn State
Quarterbacks Sam Bradford, Jimmy Clausen, Colt McCoy and Tim Tebow are said to be "mulling their options". Florida CB Joe Haden has also been invited to attend.
Of the players mentioned, all i would expect to be taken in the top 15 - 20 picks in the draft except Colt McCoy, Tebow and Odrick, although Odrick is likely to be drafted higher than the other two. I expect Bradford, who is pretty much a surefire top 5 pick, to attend, although Clausen is one who may not since he could easily end up with a Brady Quinn type scenario.
However, there has been a change to the rules regarding the green room at the draft, and players do not need to stay there at all times before they are picked. They are free to leave if they so wish, so guys like Tebow could show up for the start and then leave for the privacy of their hotel room. This means we are less likely to see someone stuck in the green room longer than expected like we saw previously with Brady Quinn and Aaron Rodgers, something Jimmy Clausen is probably happy about considering the talk of him not being valued as highly by teams as he is by the media.
