How Interesting is this Rams' Offseason?

I've been a Rams Fan since the first day i started to play football in the saint louis area in 1999. Ironically, that was arguably the Ram's best year as a franchise. I can't remember an offseason that held this much excitement for me.

I haven't been this anxious for a Ram's draft ever and for a draft in general since 06 when Bush/Young were coming out.

Just wondering if I was alone in thinking this draft will be a turning point for this franchise for good or ill (pretty sure im not).

Yah, if we take a Qb and he is too weak to make certain throws, or gets seriously hurt early on, then we are out 70 mil and set 5 years back just like the Browns with Brady Quinn. Thats not a position you can afford to mess up on.

Yep, it's the deciding factor as to whether we'll move to that ideal dynasty some teams went to or we'll be back in the slums and I'll have to get the bag over my head ready.

I'm one of only two people (thus far) to have taken the "Meh" option.

Every draft is the same: young players coming out of college are hyped up by their agents, the media and others with their fingers in the pie; the Internet goes into meltdown; the draft takes place; some players work out well, while others bust.

Plus ça change.....

Im always excited with the draft, but for the last few years its been pretty clear who our first round pick will be. This year, whoever we pick out of Bradford, Suh and McCoy il be happy with, but its looking like Bradford.

I think for me, the most exciting thing about the draft this year will be watching the later part of round one, seeing who will end up being available at the top of round 2.

Very exciting year for the draft. Love the fact the Rams have several options for pick 1.

I will be happy with any of the top DT's or the future Franchise QB Bradford. I would even be happy with a trade if the Rams acquire multiple top picks.

Meh, not much drama when the Rams are sure to get whoever it is they really want. When you are drafting late in the first round, the drama is significantly greater because the variables are greater.

I'm very excited for our franchise. The possibility of a franchise QB or stud DT
either way cant go wrong.
also with the rest of our picks, we should come away with a few more guys who
can come in & be quality players.

Finally (IMO) a coaching staff who know & are football people, With direction
for our team.

I love it, I wish we would have been able to do a little more in FA, (BU RB at least) and maybe we still will idk.
The draft topic is one I really took to this year for the first time and Im hooked, I have been a fan since they moved here, and was at the game Trent Green went down after looking so good, I was bummed all the way home thinking who in hell is Kurt Warner?
Its been a ride as a fan and I hope that we have the right guys in place to help turn it around. Im very optimistic but, the league is already sticking it to us with that preseason lineup imo, but thats why they play the game I guess.

I love this preseason matchup. Gives us great competition to warm up with and get used to football again early. Darn near perfect imo.
