Is it in our best interest to trade our pick as soon as possible?
Assume Miami picks up Flynn. So pretty much the Redskins and Browns will be the ones in running. So, that is to our advantage to drive the price up. However, if Peytons chip falls into place and the Redskins pick him, which would be before the draft. We would be at a disadvantage and we would get less from the Browns. Most probably we would get Draft Value chart requirement (1.4, 1.22 and maybe a 3rd rounder), but still it would be less than what we would get if we pitted the Skins vs. Browns.
So is it in our advantage to trade this as soon as possible. If not a.s.a.p. atleast weeks before the draft. Just something to ponder about and is it something to really think about if the Rams are sure they don't want to draft at 1.2?
