  • Lets get some interesting projections for Day 2

Let's get interesting but somewhat realistic projections for Day 2.

    Mine:

At 6 PM, the Rams announce two trades.

    1) Buffalo sends 41, 107 and Marshawn Lynch to the Rams for 33 and takes Clausen

    2) Rams send 65 and 107 to the Giants for 76 and Osi Umenyiora

    i'd love that.

Schefter is reporting via twitter: Filed to ESPN: Bills and Browns have contacted the Rams about trading for the No. 33 pick. Jimmy Clausen, Colt McCoy in play.

I would think the Bills would be the most likely trade partners and at pick #41 Benn could be picked

I was talking to my brother (a Bills fan) about the Bills contacting the Rams for a trade up. I am lousy with value so somebody clean this up if were getting robbed. But what about something like, we get the Bills 2nd and 3rd in exchange for our 2nd and Barron?

i believe a 2nd and 3rd off the Bills for our 2nd alone would be about right.

if they want Barron they should throw in another pick..say a 4th..i know some decent players have gone for 5th rounders recently..but an OT has more of a premium on his head than most of those players positions..although Barron has his faults, he`s probably atleast on a par if not better than the 3 top LT prospects available ( Campbell,Brown & Saffold) at this point...with that 4th we could get a true RT in Kyle Calloway..whilst the Bills get what they need in a serviceable LT.

Good points. Like I said, I'm lousy with value and I have seen posts saying they would be happy to move Barron for a 4th so I just threw that out there.

I just think a trade with Buffalo makes a lot of sense. We need a backup RB and they are trying to move Lynch. They need a LT and we are trying to move Barron. They want to move up, we probably want to move down and get more picks. I think all the pieces are in place for something to get worked out.

I don't like Lynch but he could be productive here. I hear he's a problem.

swap 2nds with Bills, send them Barron, they send us Lynch and they send us their 3rd.

              To summerize:

              Rams get:
              Bills 2nd
              Bills 3rd
              Lynch

              Bills get:
              Rams 2nd
              Barron

Rams are not picking up marshawn Lynch. Sj39 would have a a tizy.

What would hurt about getting Lynch? He would be a perfect backup for Sjax, plus he could start if SJ goes down. I love the idea.

Bills Are Stacked at Running Back

Just saying I'm sooooo jealous of there situation. One of them has got to go though. Personally I loved Joique Bell comin outta Wayne State this year but they'll most likely keep him. Marshawn Lynch is the odd man out there. I think they'll be forced to cut him if there aren't any trade offers.

Other teams around the league have some pretty good backs who may be available too, the Falcons included (Jerious Norwood). The Rams'll pounce on who ever the best man for the team is.

                      Go Rams!!!

kyle williams, defensive tackle (6'1 308) for 33 overall. kyle was an alternate in the probowl last year. 26 years old in the prime of his career. he doesn't fit our defense since we switched to the 3-4. we need clausen.

what do you guys think about that?

good luck in the rest of the draft

Bills Making Calls About Trade to No. 1 or No. 2

Bills making calls about a trade to No. 1 or No. 2

As the draft approaches, plenty of teams supposedly want to trade down. And plenty of teams supposedly want to trade up.

The Bills, were told, have been burning up the phone lines in an effort to work out a deal that would vault them from No. 9 to No. 1 or No. 2. The targets are believed to be defensive end Jadeveon Clowney and tackle Greg Robinson.

Its unclear what it would take to get a deal done. With both the Texans and Rams hoping to slide down, the Bills could spark a bidding war for a bargain. Regardless of the cost, it appears that G.M. Doug Whaley, who could have a new boss by the end of the year, hopes to make the team dramatically better, quickly.

Report: Browns, Bills in pursuit of 33rd pick
                      by Alec22
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Bills and Browns have contacted the Rams about the No. 33 overall pick.

"Jimmy Clausen, Colt McCoy in play," Schefter adds. The top remaining offensive linemen -- Charles Brown, Rodger Saffold, and Vlad Ducasse -- could also be "in play" for tackle-needy Buffalo. The Browns would figure to be targeting a passer. Cleveland, in particular, has the ammunition to move up. Mike Holmgren's club may want to move ahead of the Chiefs, slotted at No. 36 and rumored to have Jimmy Clausen high on their draft board. ________________________________________________________________

Carolina is also said to have interest in Colt McCoy.
With Kindle off the board (essentially) i think it would be smart for the rams to drop back some sports in the 2nd, hopefully get a guy like price and pick up another top 120 pick.
