    Re: i wanted suh

I wanted a GI Joe with a kungfu grip.

    I wanted a corvette.

    I wanted a Ninja 600.

I wanted better geans and to be better looking.

And people in hell probably want ice water.

But, I am a Ram fan. They selected, about a month ago, Sam Bradford. He's fine.

What I want now is for a guy we actually have, Sam Bradford, to have a fine career.

I to wanted suh but whenever it came around april 22nd I wanted bradford because if he is half as good as he was in college he is gonna be best qb we have had since warner. That's what the rams needed a franchise qb not a dominate dt.

Hello my name is C-Mob, (Hi C-Mob)

And I was in love with Aarron Curry.

However I am a Rams fan first and foremost, and after we passed on Curry on draft day that was the last time I wanted him on our team. I am now a big Jason Smith fan.

It is ok to root for a player in the days leading up to the draft, but Sam Bradford was the pick, not Suh. It is time to move on and be ready for a great new era of Rams football.

And remember, football is a team sport, its okay to like certain players, but in the end Rams players trump all other players in my opinion. Oh and you can't like Hawks or Niner players. Its a rule. For some reason I don't feel as strongly towards the cardinals, because quite frankly, they are the cardinals.

Now that was the nice way of saying, get over your Suh crush and support Rams players, if you keep rehashing the fact you wanted Suh, it is going to get old quickly.:|

              Go Rams!

I wanted Suh and Colt McCoy .. Many here at the Clan felt McCoy wouldn't be there at the top of round 2 and thought we shouldn't take that chance, that we had to select Bradford .. Well - all that stuff seems like 10 years ago now. We did take Sam, and I'm not interested in second guessing our pick when he hasn't even played a NFL down yet. Three years from now, if Bradford busts and Suh is playing his way into the Hall of Fame, I might consider a little whining and sniveling .. Right now - Sam's our guy and I'm behind him 100%.

Our team was 1-15 last year, my Rambrother. We all feel your pain. But come the first snap of the 2010 season, you'll forget about The House of Spears & remember that you belong to the House of The Deacon, Youngblood, Olsen, and many, many others. And many more to come, some of whom may already be on the roster. They need your passion & support, that's all we're saying.

Seriously dude, I was a Suh fan too. But to be so disappointed with Bradford and Saffold, I just dont understand. There's a thousand different ways to make a superbowl team. And we just drafted TWO 1st round talents for 2 of the most important positions in football. We got a grade A talent in Bradford and an A- player in Saffold. That's nothing to be disappointed with. Count your blessings.

What is the sense of a post like this at this point? Hasnt it been discussed already? We have Bradford why can't people just support that fact. I wanted Peyton Manning,Adrian Peterson,Ed Reed and Randy Moss too but we didnt get them either. I was a Suh supporter but not anymore I am now a Bradford supporter because I am a Rams fan not a Suh fan.

Enough said right there. Can't get attached to players seeing all the money/contract issues. I mean what would u have done if we took suh and traded him later on ie Albert Haynesworth

                                Bradford of Suh ?
                                by jerseyramsfan
After last season I wanted the Rams to finish near the bottom to have a shot at Sam Bradford. Well now a year later my wish for a franchise QB is a reality. But all I've been hearing about is how Suh is the best DT to come out in decades. Man now I'm really torn. Lets get some discussion going between the two players...

                                Bradford vs. Suh
                                by ramhard
I think this season is a great example of how drafting is as much about fit as it is about talent. There was a heavy debate on Suh vs. Bradford. Both are having great years so far. Suh has been downright amazing, and from a stat perspective, you could even argue that Suh is having a better rookie year at DT (he is a leader in many DT stats - e.g. 8th in league in sacks, leading all DT's in sacks, 1 interception and 1 fumble recovery for a TD as a DT), than Bradford is having at QB. Yet, the choice of Bradford was best for the Rams and Suh will be a beast for the Lions for years to come.

I see us getting Bradford, but there is an article on Suh over at espn, and man do I want this kid on our team. Character, physical traits, a winner, never ever satisfied with his skill set. I would be doing cartwheels if we called his name in April!!!

McShay picking Suh for Rams for less money
                                by turbofargo
Just heard a espn podcast where Todd McShay was given an either/or senerio, Bradford for 50 million or Suh for 30 million and he said as much as he liked Bradford he thinks that would be a killer deal for the Rams to get Suh with all the holes we have and enough doubt about Bradford to warrant it.
