  • Who Will Be the Most Overpriced NFL Free Agents?

NFL insiders Pete Prisco and Will Brinson take a look at which players might get a larger contract than what they are worth. Ed Reed? Wes Welker? Anthony Spencer?

Which free agent do you think will be over-paid?

    All of them.

Kidding. More specifically, I think Bowe will be overpaid thanks to a lack of WR on the free agent market and in the draft.

Oh I forgot about Wallace and Jennings. Probably all three will be overpaid, but I'd expect Jennings to be the most overpaid. I don't think any of them are true #1's necessarily, but they'll be paid like it.

And when I say Jennings the most overpaid, I mean relative to skill, not most salary.

Not sure who but I'm 100% sure it will be a wide receiver.

Guaranteed to be Wes Welker. He'll get huge bucks to suck it up outside of the Pats system.
          I believe!:ram:

That honor will likely go to Mike Wallace, since last I heard, he was seeking Fitzgerald money.

I believe it will be Mike Wallace or one of the big 3 wrs this offseason as well.

Because of Welkers age and a youmger option with Amendola in FA. I actually think no one will end up splurging on Welker. Plus belicheck kinda phased jim out last year, so made it seem like he's on the way down.

But yea, wallace looks primed for a santonio holmes type offseason.

Of the mostly likely free agents available before the draft, who should the Rams be considering with the cap and draft prospects in mind?

For everyone that has the Rams going out in free agency and picking up 5-6 players, when was the last time that the Rams ever were that active in free agency? I know they usually sign a couple people each year, but a lot of people seem to have us taking a couple decent names in free agency. I can't remember the last time that the Rams actually went out in free agency and spent a lot of money on a few key players.

Now, don't get me wrong, I could see the Rams picking up maybe one of Crowder/Birk/Willis/Butler because the new coaching staff wants changes, but do you really think they will spend money on a couple of them with there prices being driven up by other teams and the possible sale of the franchise?

So as you can see this team has tons of needs, like we didnt know that already. So now its time to play fill in the blanks. Let's be realistic we wont be able to fill all these needs in next years draft so we may have to play mix and match with some of the heartless guys we have now. This is more than a one year rebuild this may take 2 or 3 years to be respectable again.
