"I think, and this is a Giant uh-oh, that some Big Blue observers are saying Jesse Palmer has thrown the ball better than Kurt Warner has in June practices."

Re: What Peter King said on Warner---DAMN!!
Didn't another article say that Manning's balls also looked better than Warners?....
still, isn't it true that Warner is a "gamer", in that he never looked like a star in practice, but can turn on the switch in a game and make plays?
Who knows....that hand could be an issue.

Re: What Peter King said on Warner---DAMN!!
Originally posted by RamDezI do believe everyone and I mean EVERYONE was falling over themselves to tell us that Warner was looking GREAT prior to the season opener last year.
Consider that the Giants signed Warner without seeing him throw the ball. The Rams saw him throw the ball a lot and chose to let him go. I suspect there's a reason for that which goes beyond the cap and Marc Bulger and controversial media appearances.

Why would I want any ex-Ram to be successful? I don't know Warner personally. I have no emotional ties to the man. I don't wish him injury or anything, but I do wish I could call up his bank account just to hear the balance.

I guess as long as his performance doesn't hurt the Rams, I won't wish Warner any ill will as an opponent. I hope he finds success as long as it doesn't come at the expense of his former team. But if it comes down to a playoff race with St. Louis, fighting for a spot, or an actual game head to head, then I hope he's miserable and our defense picks him apart.
Team takes priority over a player.

by txramsfanThere ya go. Don't say I'm not open minded about posting this after reading #8. It's funny though, he only comments on one game Orakpo didn't play well but doesn't highlight the OU game where he was a monster. Oh well, guess Texas players aren't supposed to have a bad game.

by LongTimeFanPretty good quote from Peter King over at SI.com about the upcoming game:
Regardless of what they say, I do think some of the players were looking ahead to this week....-
