So will it be called the London Bowl? With those 2 teams maybe the toilet bowl is more fitting.:r

Did Eli check with Daddy to make sure it's okay to play over there so far from
    home?

    GO RAMS!!!

I have been to all the "American Bowls" as they used to call them. Bearing in mind that they were pre season games, the only one I can really say that I enjoyed was the Rams win over the Broncos

As this game will be a regular season game, I am not sure I will attend although it should be far more competative.

REGULAR NFL season game at the Wembley? I think that is excellent!

Fantastic international exposure for the league. Previous American Bowls:

I'm gonna need a lot of luck to see the game, 500 000 tickets have been requested by 160 000 people in the UK alone.

That is what I read also.. for a stadium which seats between somewhere between 80-90K.

the players will certainly have their internal clocks screwed up with the near 1/2 day time difference. Their bodies will be telling them they are playing just after midnight....

Yehaa just got tickets for the Rams vs Giants game

The cool part is that I will be going with 13 collegues who are not Rams fans but are just interested in the NFL. Now I will begin working on converting them :P

Anybody else in here who plan to go to the game?

Channing Crowder is either an idiot or a comic genius

Crowder learns he wonít need translator in London

Maybe he was joking, but gregarious Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder confessed today he didnít know until Tuesday that people spoke English in London.

Crowder, a former Florida Gator and Atlanta native, apparently isnít sure where the plane is headed when it takes off this afternoon for Sundayís game against the New York Giants in Wembley Stadium.

ďI couldnít find London on a map if they didnít have the names of the countries,Ē Crowder said. ďI swear to God. I donít know what nothing is. I know Italy looks like a boot. I learned that.

ďI know (Washington Redskins linebacker) London Fletcher. We did a football camp together. So I know him. Thatís the closest thing I know to London. Heís black, so Iím sure heís not from London. Iím sure thatís a coincidental name.Ē

When reminded Dolphins practice squad receiver and NFL Europe veteran Marvin Allen is from London, Crowderís standup routine didnít miss a beat.

ďHeís from London?Ē Crowder said. ďI knew he was from over there because he talks funny. I was surprised (when they met) because ó I donít want to say he didnít look the part because thatís a stereotype ó but he didnít look the part. I heard him talk, and I thought he had a recorder and was just mouthing.Ē
