  • Leodis McKelvin

After fumbling the return that let the Patriots come back to beat the bills, Buffalo CB McKelvin got his front lawn and house vandalized by fans. Living close to Buffalo and knowing this has happened before, there is a definite reason free agents avoid going to Buffalo.
As a fan, this is disgraceful. The man is a football player. He made a mistake. Everyone else is a fan, the team lost and it sucks, but anyone who can even think of violence or doing damage to a player for making a mistake is not a real fan. This is only the first week of the season too.
I can only imagine how Leodis is feeling, knowing he let his teammates down. Now he has to worry about his safety, and the safety of his family.
Lets hope fans grow up and stop this nonsense.

I feel bad for him as well. He made a mistake, the defense is just as much, if not more, to blame for that loss anyway.
Fans that take it too far are a disgrace to the game.

These fans took things WAY too far. I think it's time McKelvin gets a couple of Rots to roam the property and some security cameras.

I felt bad for the dude. I mean he was just trying to be aggressive. It didn't work out so well, but I can appreciate the spirit.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.

What was that movie in which one of the subplots was a fan's obsession with the Bills kicker who missed that SB field goal?

Something about those long Buffalo winters makes fans take their football a little too personally. Then again, losing all those SBs might be enough to unhinge the most stable of fans.

Now, if they'd covered TO's lawn kneedeep in his new cereal...I could get behind that as a fanbase statement of disapproval. Didn't he barely show up in that game?

nah, good guess ,though. The one I was thinking about is called Buffalo '66 with Vincent Gallo, Christina Ricci, and a bunch of other stars.

Darkly funny little indie that is actually more centrally fixated on Scott Norwood's famous flubbed kick than I remembered, now that I read the plot summary on IMDb.The main character goes to prison for 6 yrs essentially because of the Bills' loss. Now those are grounds for some real fan discontent!

Ace Ventura... that pretty much was the beginning and end of Marino's acting career, wasn't it?...thank goodness.

Haha, oh my mistake, it sounded too familiar

And yes, that was it for Mr. Marino and acting...

Can't beleive this. The fans have absolutley no respect for the guy. It is safe to say that he is one of the best kick returners in the NFL. Although he did cost them the game, it's week one, and this is inexcusable. I hope Leodis shows those fans up by having a great week 2 and season performance!
