Bills sign former Rams TE Klopfenstein
    By Bill Coats
    St. Louis Post-Dispatch

Nearly three months after the St. Louis Rams let him go, tight end Joe Klopfenstein has found employment. The Bills have signed Klopfenstein to take TE Derek Fine’s spot on the active roster. Fine is out for the season with a knee injury.

The moves were made the day after former Rams secondary coach Perry Fewell was named Buffalo’s interim head coach, following the firing of Dick Jauron.

Klopfenstein was the Rams’ second-round draft pick (No. 46) in 2006, out of Colorado. In three seasons, he had just 33 catches for 386 yards. He was released Sept. 1 in the first round of post-training camp cuts.

Well this move should just about be enough to assure that they will be in the AFC title game.;)

I wish him the best. Didn't produce much here, hope he turns his career around in Buffalo.

          ...annnnd he's been cut:

          Bills released TE Joe Klopfenstein.
Even though Derek Fine is out for the season, the Bills don't have a place for Klopfenstein, a former second-round pick. Shawn Nelson and Jonathan Stupar are the Bills' only tight ends.
