    How 'bout them Ravens

It was really nice to see the Ravens just smack the cheatroits in the mouth. This game was much worse than the score (33-14). The cheatroits only scored their first TD because the officials did their typical cheerleading for them by calling a muffed football out of bounds as a cheatroits recovery at the 17. The other TD was set up by one of the most ticky-tack illegal contact penalties ever called in post season. Instead of being 3rd and eleven, after a sack at the 26, it's 1st and 10 at the 14. The cheatroits didn't even have a legal formation at the time, which wasn't flagged, on the very same play. This from a crew that was on record as being one of the most "let them play" officials of the season. On top of this, it then took two challenges by the Ravens (one was not overturned because the officials watched the replay through his cheatroits sunglasses) to get 6 of 8 points on a TD and two-point conversion.

Man am I glad that the cheatroits were knocked out of the play-offs!! And what a job by the Ravens to outplay them enough to have a legitimate score at least 35-0.

Yep, the officials did everything in their power to help out the Patriots. Why the Ravens didn't throw the red flag on the punt muff recovery by the Pats that clearly wasn't a recovery is a head scratcher. At least justice was done on the re-spot of Flacco's obvious first down run. They did manage to deny the 2-point conversion on that series though. Good thing none of it mattered as the golden boy fell FLAT on his face.

I didn't see the post game handshake between Harbaugh and Belicheat. How did that go?

It was so good to see Brady look average at best. Seeing them go down just made my weekend. Nothing like a great defense to help dominate a game. That's what I hope we can do here next year.

Great game. Glad they beat New England. I'm so sick of them. Time to get ready for many reports backing up Brady and the Patriots. Ugh

The handshake was uneventful, but Moss ran to the locker room like a little girl.

I should have added that the muff punt deal was probably because the home team never showed the replay in the stadium. I am not sure why he didn't have a coach in the booth look for a review, unless the cheatroits also control what they see.

I believe your razzzzzzing of the Patriots and Baltimore's win ushers in officially the end of the Patriots quote-unquote dynasty and perineal consideration for the representative for the AFC EAST. The question is are the Jets the new King in town? SIT DOWN BELICHEAT!!!

I have to say watching the Pats getting there asses handed to them on a platter was the highlight of my day. Also, Kurt Warner is such fun to watch, does he EVER not hit a reciever in stride, what an arm.

Enjoy the extended off-season Pats. Maybe you can use it to research new spy cameras to prep for next season.

Ravens angered over Porter's 'cheap shot'
                                by Nick
BALTIMORE - The Baltimore Ravens won't soon forget the hit Pittsburgh linebacker Joey Porter leveled on an injured tight end Todd Heap during the second quarter of Sunday's 30-13 rout of the Steelers.

Heap twisted his right ankle on the previous play when he gingerly took his place on the line as Ravens quarterback Kyle Boller prepared to spike the ball. As Boller thrust the ball downward, Porter shoved Heap backward with a show of brute force.

Heap could barely lift himself off the turf and was removed for the remainder of the game.

Afterward, the Ravens were livid over Porter's seemingly unnecessary hit.

``It just shows what type of character that guy has,'' linebacker Ray Lewis said. ``When you take a cheap shot like that and just try to hurt somebody, it goes way outside of your character and shows what type of spirit he really has. You just pray for him.''

Ravens cornerback Chris McAlister called Porter an unprintable name and said, ``There's no reason for anyone to take a cheap shot like that.''

Baltimore coach Brian Billick wondered aloud why the rules would permit such an unsportsmanlike act.

``We are awful concerned about receivers turning their shoulders, going forward on the line of scrimmage, and we talk endlessly about pass interference down the field, but something like that is evidently legal,'' Billick said. ``How about that?''

Porter contended Heap might have been bluffling.

``It looked like he was hobbling, but at the same time, I don't know if he was fake hobbling,'' Porter said. ``I've seen a lot of guys that looked hurt and kept playing. They fall on the ground and get up and run a play.

``I didn't hit him, I pushed him. It's not like I took a cheap shot at him and ran in there and hit him. I pushed him with my hands. This is football.''

Porter figured the Ravens expressed their displeasure on the field as a way of getting the fans riled up.

``It's just a thing to get the crowd into it, to boo me and make me out to be the bad guy,'' he said. ``So I'm fine with that.''

I will admit that I dd not watch the whole game, so things could have "evened out", but I doubt it. I turned it off shortly after the catch, three steps, and football move by Edelman was fumbled and then video replay ruled incomplete by the officials because he didn't take two steps. Add that blatant disregard for the integrity of the game to the Jets' first and goal at the one (was originally ruled a TD after about 15 seconds of wonderng if they show award the TD) was ruled incomplete, and it once again looks like the league is not going to allow a team, that "shouldn't beat the patriots" to win the game.

Is there ever gonna come a time when the "announcers" and the "sports writers" are gonna finally say enough is enough, and we can't report this crap in the cheatroits favor? When the "announcers" can C.L.E.A.R.L.Y. see a blantant hold and takedown on the replay, and say "I didn't see anything wrong with that", I cannot trust the "sports professionals" to tell the truth about the game.

Anyone who watched the Ravens/Cardinals game should know what I'm talking about. As I'm writing this post to vent a little, the officials in the Cincinnatti game just robbed T.J. Houshmansadah of a TD. There was a penalty on the play but the call in the end zone was horrific.

There were at least three blatantly bad calls in the Arizona game and it has me seriously doubting the integrity of some of the crews working these games. I can accept a lot of the crap that the NFL has become but one thing that literally raises my blood pressure is when the fuccking officials decide the game. No one wants to see your stupid face on t.v. No one likes you. No one wants to even know you're on the field. Learn how to call the game accurately you collective pieces of crap.

                                Defense still wins championships.

Lots of high power offenses in this years playoff. The Patriots, Packers, Falcons, and Texans. Lots of HYPE of the Pistol and how to stop it.

Bottom line the 2 best Defense in the playoffs are playing next Sunday.

That is why I hope the Rams grab a playmaking safety this year.
