  • Kurt Warner/Jim Rome Twitter Exchange on Cushing

    Interesting little tidbit from Twitter:

    Jim Rome wrote:
If you're not cheating, you're not trying, and it's only cheating if you get caught. Well, Brian Cushing was caught. And just got over.
    Kurt Warner responded:
love u romie, but must disagree... tried for 12 yrs and never cheated once... to me u ain't trying if u cheat, ur cheating!
    Rome then backtracked and replied:
We're on the same page. The guy cheated. Was caught. And gets to keep the award. So he got over. It's wrong. I don't condone it.
Nice to see Kurt putting the overgrown 12 year old in his place.

Sounds like Rome did a near 180-turn on that opinion given Kurt's response. Nice to have someone slap down his shtick.

Jim Rome ,is he from Rome is Burning? Didn't that Jim Rome get slapped on camera by an Ex Ram named Jim Everett. Didn't he scream something like "Get him off me" and "Please don't hit me, I was Just kidding." Did this guy ever play a single down of football? I have no respect for Jim Rome, never have ,,,,never will.

Re: Kurt Warner/Jim Rome Twitter Exchange on Cushing

Rome must have Ram-o-phobia after the Everett run-in several years back. Still a classic. But yeah, not only is he dead wrong in his initial line of thought, he runs the other way from Kurt. Epic.
