I was watching the Giants-Redskins game (I must have a masochistic streak... ugh), and they flashed up a statistic that of the 18 QBs drafted in the first round between 1984-93, 12 of them played 10+ years. Of the 25 QBs selected in the first round between 1994-2004, on the other hand, only 3 had played 10 or more seasons!!!! This was meant to impress upon us that teams have had problems finding quality quarterbacks through the draft, but I couldn't help but notice that only the QBs drafted in 1994 or 1995 could possibly have played 10 seasons...
but then the fun would go out of it as well.
