Which team will swoon in the second half this season?
    Pittsburgh Steelers
    Chicago Bears
    San Diego Chargers
    Cincinnati Bengals
    New England Patriots
    Cleveland Browns
    Green Bay Packers

    The poll is expired.

The Bengals! The year two Ohio teams make the playoffs at the same time, I eat me Titans hat. I think the Steelers are a lock for the division and the Browns will take the wildcard.

      Looking at the second half!
      by theodus69
This team could easily go 7-1 the second half. Its possible to ride a 10 game winning streak right into the playoffs! I didn't see how easy this schedule was shaping up! Let's go RAMSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!:clanram:

      Another second half letdown.
      by rammiser
What is going on with this team in the second half? Seems like almost every game we play good in the first half and stink up the joint in the second half. Is it the coaching staff, the players, fatigue, i just have no idea. We beat teams we shouldnt beat and lose to teams we should beat go figure. This team coaching staff included needs to learn how to finish games. They let Tampa linger around after they had their heart in hand at halftime. Instead of squashing it we carefully placed it back in their chest and supercharged it with lackluster effort in the second half. Something must change in these games we get leads in and then go super conservative with our prevent offense.

Supposedly Bad Second Half Performances Are All Part Of The Plan
      by Linefan
Some look at the Rams' poor second half performances and assume that Scott Linehan is too conservative when he gets a lead or fails to adjust during games. Not at all the case. In fact, what you are seeing is the start of a dominating strategy.

Linehan knows that getting an early lead and then grinding it out in the second half is the best formula for success. Right now, he really does not have the players to do this, but he knows that you have to stick to the master plan. He'll keep using the quick strike/slow grind approach for the rest of this season so that the players get used to it, even though the Rams may lose some games as a result.

Next year, though, when he gets the full team back, look out! We'll be taking a 21-0 lead in the first half of games and then grinding out 27-10 wins left and right!

      In Scott We Trust!
