Listen to any press conference in the last 3 weeks ... or maybe the last 3 decades
and you'll hear the QB/RB/Coach (delete as appropriate) saying " we beat ourselves" or words to the same effect.
We heard it from McNabb and Kordell last week and we'll hear it from Brady and Belichik at some point next season.
