  • Favorite Az Memory??

I will ALWAYS remember my favorite play in football history, and that is Az and Torry streaking down the sidelines neck and neck jawing with each other on the touchdown catch against Denver opening day on Monday night football 2000.

I will miss you Az, you were a hell of a third receiver and made the Rams run to watch for several years. Best of luck...still I think over paid

    New Orleans

Never got over the fumble and drop passes.

    Good luck in Detroit.

While there are a couple that flash...

Due to the fumbles and the greed, I'd have to say my fondest is his signing with Detroit...:p

Good luck, hope you get great seats in San Diego for next years SB...

I'll miss his speed. i'll probably remember his performance in the Super Bowl, but other than that the Lions can have his contract and fumbles.

But when all said and done, I hope he does well.

Fair thee well...enjoy 'WINNING' in Detroit you 'LOSER'!!! The RAMS can find ANYONE with speed who has bad hands.

Oops....forgot my fondest memory of this fool...would have to be him SINGLE HANDEDLY destroying that comeback vs the Aints in the playoffs in 2000. Yup...Detroit seems to be a perfect fit.

boy...I am in the minority in liking Az.

I think you all will see how much this effects the offense next season....going to be hard to replace his speed and the quickie routes he ran.

The Rams run one the most complex offenses in the league, do you really think just anyone is going to step in and replace Az?? It is going to take time just learning the syestem....not to even to say anything towrds just speed.

My memories of Az are filled with returns for great field position and the occasional crowd-pleasing TD along with some great receptions in the midst of defenders.

I too will miss Az, J-Ram. His ball control seemed better as a WR. I will miss quick crosses across the middle where warner would take one step back, connect and the leave the rest to AZ. Liked his reverses, liked his big pass this year. Loved him in general, once he was no longer returning punts. Although, I will always remember that run back against the Bengals in 99.

Godspeed, Az, and good luck in Detroit! I'm gonna miss you! You have a boat-load of talent! You have a flaw. We all have flaws. But yours reared its ugly head at the most critical times and it's probably what i'll remember most about you. ROCK ON.......but don't receive punts! ;)
