Whats up with the Sporting News?

The other day I read something that stated that the Sporting News didnt even pick the Rams to make the playoffs.I havent read Sporting News lately,so I was wondering if anybody else has.I usually dont take much stock in magazine predictions,but it makes me wonder if the rest of the NFL has the same opinion.Hey,it could be to our teams advantage if they do,but I seriously doubt that any team on the Rams schedule will take them lightly.I think that the Sporting News writers are,well,stupid maybe?I dont know,but I would like to hear others opinions on this matter

Magazines like the Sporting News and Sports Illustrated always seem to predict the teams that are going to make money for their magazine, for example they seem to have the belief that putting the Vikings or the Broncos on their cover or in their articles will sell more then if they put the Rams or the Seahawks. So by not predicting the Rams it's almost like a sell for them, they probably know deep down the Rams will be there but their magazine will get more reviews if they pick the Broncos or the Vikings to be there. It's a stupid philosiphy but I do believe I'm right to an extent and it's those bigger sports markets that seem to get the most attention. When the Rams are 8-0 at the midpoint of the season they will be back in those magazines with Super Bowl predictions lol So just blow those predictions this early off.

I read an online version of the predictions but it's such nonsense that I didn't even post it on the articles board. How can U ignore the offense that has been so awesome the last two seasons I don't know

I agree, had we not suffered some injuries and had any kind of a defense last year we all know who would have been and should have been Back to Back Super Bowl Champs last year. I just blow the predictions off, we'll be there in Super Bowl 36 and thats all that counts.

I agree,The media is usually wrong concerning pre-season predictions.On the other hand,many other experts have picked us to do very well.What it really comes down to is the team itself and as a fan I truly believe the Rams are ready for the upcoming season.Last year was a disappointment and I know our team is hungry for another championship,so Rams fansETS GET READY TO RUMBLE!

There are many magazines and many articles out there with their predictions. All pretty much different. That tells you something right there. Not to mention, the same magazine will sell the same edition with different covers to attract different fans, so we can see where they're priorities are. The cover has nothing to do with what's inside.

I have read nothing about the Rams except that they should be one of the top three teams in the league with the Ravens and Bucs...It kind of makes me nervous...I have a bad feeling the ***** or Bears are going to run wild over the league....Hahaha.. Aaaaah, no I'm not......

Did sporting news really pick them not to make the playoffs? Let's see...Giants and Eagles in the East..Bucs in the Central...I guess the Saints in the West..Who else is there? 2 spots..The Pack? The Vikes? Lions? Redskins? Cmon..That cant be...
