  • Rams Add Scout

    By ClanRam Staff

The St. Louis Rams have added Dave Boller to the college scouting department, the team announced today.

Boller, 42, joins the Rams after spending six years with the Philadelphia Eagles. Prior to his time with the Eagles, Dave had his first taste of the NFL from 1995-97 as a college scout for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

From 1985-95, Boller worked in various capacities at Arizona State University, serving as the Sun Devils' administrative assistant for football operations for his final seven years in Tempe, under head coaches Larry Marmie (current Rams' Defensive Coordinator) and Bruce Snyder. His primary responsibility for the Sun Devils was in-state recruiting as well as organizing the remainder of the recruiting process.

Dave was born in Davenport, IA and raised in Plymouth, IN, and now lives with his wife, Jill, in Willis, TX.

"We're excited to have a scout of Dave's background join our organization," said Rams' general manager Charley Armey. "His experience will be an asset to our organization."
