Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but Hadley's supposedly an inside source that reports inside scoops and things like that. His credibility is questionable to a lot of the people I've talked to, but I remember him reporting having sources confirming Warner's release a good couple weeks/months before it became known and was laughed at by a lot of Rams fans. I wouldn't necessarily believe him but I question whether he'd make this kind of announcement with absolutely nothing to back it up.

I am going to watch midwest sports report on tv in the next few minutes and i will post if anything appears on that show. They typically break rams news at least the same time as espn and often before it appears in the post dispatch. Howard B. is the expert on the rams on the show.

          Re: Hadley is claming!!!

The rams report tonight on midwest sports report had an interview with timmerman who talked about how settled the situation is this year heading into camp (ie not qb issues). No mention at all of anything pertaining to faulk.

If there was reason to believe that faulk might miss the entire year and if the info was credible, i find it hard to believe that it wouldnt be all over the news already.

That of couse may be wishful thinking, but hopefully, this was a false alarm.

I imagine it's just speculation at this point. Perhaps Hadley's intention was to say that there's concern that Faulk's knee isn't ready. Who knows.

It is also being reported by other reliable sources as well. There is still some doubt as to Faulk's knee, I don't think anyone is certain of anything, but I know I am not the least bit surprised. I tried to warn you all earlier this year, but not many would listen and I was scoffed at for the most part. Time wiil tell, but I am one Rams fan that is thankful we have Steven Jackson just in case.

I think most if now ALL Ram fans feel glad that Jackson is a Ram. Pople would be foolish to the extreme to think that Faulk would last forever.

I'll tell you this, until I DON'T see Marshall on the field I won't believe it. Any other player, well maybe I would listen to the talking heads. Faulk, no way. Seeing is believing with 28.

                    Re: Hadley is claming!!!

I completely believe (and have no heard through other reliable sources as well) that there are questions about faulks knee. The guy is 31 coming off yet another surgery and as dez points out, no one lasts forever. Ferter is correct in my view- its not a surprise that the status of faulks knee is an uncertainty. I am also thrilled to have steven jackson.

However, there is no news story in the uncertainty of faulks knee. The headline of "He may sit out 2004" is the story and that is the part that i take with a grain of salt. According to other very reliable sources, he will be in camp and we will just have to take it from there. He already counts under the cap this year. Even if he is severely limited in how much he can play, having him around for another year to tutor jackson would be critical in my view. Its very hard to understimate faulks love of the game and the intangibles that he brings to the team.

                          Re: Hadley is claming!!!

Hadley is claiming that Marshall will go to camp and see how the knee is holding up. If it is not good, then Marshall may call it quits. Bernie also backed this up. Martz of course said that Marshall is fine. I guess we'll find out in about 18 days when football season begins. How would that affect the cap with Marshall retiring?

Bernie didn't "back it up." He merely said that Hadley told him who his source was and that the claim had merit.

Again, can't somebody just ask Marshall?

I dont agree gc. The real story came out earlier this year when Faulk had his second knee surgery in less than a year. I just don't understand why everyone is so shocked. After that second surgery Martz tried to give his best impression of a medical doctor and stated that there was a flap or something in the knee and it was now rejuvenated by 10-15 years or something like that. I though it was BS then and I still think it is BS. The bad part about that surgery was the fact that they had to go in and rough up the bone in hopes of stimulating cartilage growth. I said it earlier this year and I am saying it again. The cartilage is shot and the knee is probably done.

Post dispatch quotes team sources saying its a season ending injury. I cant believe it. He walked off under his own power and wasnt even limping that badly, i thought he would be in by the next series!

The jury has been deliberating since 3pm st louis time. I hope someone is tuned to kffl so we can get the news immediately if they reach a verdict before they break for the weekend, which would be great and hopefully occurs in light of the evidence presented.

I would like to see LeBron in a Rams uniform. At 6' 9" and 265, i think he would be a tremendous situational pass rusher.

Lord only knows how many sexual encounters each of these two have had with various men, women and animals. How is it possible that both of them are still walking around approaching 60 without having contracted some form of fatal social disease. Talk about luck!
