Hargrove signs; all Rams' picks are under contract
MACOMB, IL -- Defensive end Anthony Hargrove, a third-round pick in the 2004 NFL Draft, signed a three-year contract with the Rams today.
The Rams have all of their 2004 draft choices under contract as players report to Western Illinois University for the start of training camp.
Hargrove, the 91st pick overall, started all 12 games for Georgia Tech at weakside defensive end in his final season as a sophomore in 2002.
He was declared academically ineligible for the 2003 season, and rather than return to Georgia Tech for the 2004 season, he left school to enter the NFL Draft.
Hargrove, 6-foot-4 and 274 pounds, recorded 49 tackles (26 solo) with four sacks, 13 tackles for loss, 13 QB pressures, three passes defensed, and one fumble recovery in 2002
