Bears QB Rex Grossman sailed a pass 75 yards in the air, overthrowing his intended receiver, in Thursday's drills.

- S Aeneas Williams, on first-year Bears coach Lovie Smith, the former Rams defensive coordinator.
"Preseason was the last time I've played completely healthy. So, it's been almost a year. I feel like I've got to get out there and show them that I can still contribute."
- Second-year WR Kevin Curtis, who missed nearly all of last season with a broken leg.
