  • Aeneas Interview

He hasn't been taking any days off in this camp and is practicing at least once a day. Feels he still is not close to playing at a high level yet at FS yet. Needs to improve on breaking on the ball. Feels he's not around the ball enough. Says it's no excuse for him not to have double digit interceptions playing the center of the field like he is.

    On Marmie

Says Lovie was more hands on especially with the LBs. Says Marmie allows his assistants to coach and AW thinks they have one of the best assistant coaching staffs in the league.

    On Justin Lucas

Likes him and thinks he is a play maker and can make alot of plays on the ball and was voted the DB player of the week last week. Surprised that Az let him go. Thinks he can make an impact this year in the secondary and on ST's.

Feels the defense is playing well and flying around like in the past. Says the offense looks good and he mentioned the ST's should be better as the new coach is getting more guys involved.

That's an area that needs to improve greatly this year.

Aeneas is a class act who's a joy to see in Macomb. He needs a nickname--Timex...he takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin', that's for sure.
