It seems that the board is fairly quiet given that preseason has now started. Which of these theories do you think explains why that is?

Re: Why its so quiet...
Forced to watch, NFL - Game Center, with no audio !!! Not knowing who the heck is in, out, or in street clothes.
Sounds like the O-line held up which is good that Bulger & Chandler came out in one piece. Jackson seems like he's learning the offense nicely, with Martz using him in the passing game as much as he did. D-line sounds like it needs a few real DT's to be successful against the run, and did I mention the O-line. I think that Martz is ****tin his britches knowing he may have to go into game 1, with that starting unit.
We'll get a good look next game when DV & Co. throws some stuff at em.

Re: Why its so quiet...
I personally don't allow myself to get worked up during preseason games. I use them the same way the coaches do...to take a look at new players. But I'm also aware that subconsciously I'm holding my breath just waiting for some unforseen disaster to happen. Let's hope that's just preseason jitters and not premonition.

Re: Why its so quiet...
I personally love watching preseason football. It gives me a chance to look at all the backups perform on the big stage and get a possible look into the future. The thing I don't like is, of course, injuries, but also when people try to evaluate players by comparing stats. There are so many factors that change during a preseason game that it's pointless to compare, but it can be fun to look at players individually and analyze what they're doing right or wrong.
