In either event, I don't think the Rams would have much interest in Brackens, unless it were at the veteran minimum.

We seem to have a lot of know it alls here lately. What has happened to good conversation and not knit picking each others faults. Man some people are getting to perfect and seem to live in a box where they can do no wrong.

Re: BRACKENS released
According to KFFL, Brackens had arthroscopic knee surgery at the beginning of the year, was released as a salary cap move so the club wouldn't have to pay him a $1 million roster bonus, resigned with the Jags but couldn't practice early on because he was rehabbing his knee. He then suffered a muscle tear as well as a strain behind his right knee and was cut on the 22nd after having missed two weeks with calf injuries. So yes, in my opinion, I would think injuries played a pretty big part in his release.

Generally, the term "know-it-alls" is expressed with hyphens, as is "knit-picking." Others' is possessive and an apostrophe is appropriate. A comma should have appeared after "Man." The word "too," in the context used has two Os.

by adarian_tooOK. Releasing KW "saves money." It became obvious over time that the FO woulldn't support bringing back KW. Well, what is up with the fact that Jamie Duncan hasn't been released?
It is after June 1st, so the salary cap isn't an issue. Duncan had his 2nd chance last year. It should be "obvious" too that Duncan has been dead weight. If the FO thinks depth is an issue, then they can go out and get Trotter or Gilden.
In fact, despite the big contract, Trotter's didn't have much of an off year last year. He had 115 solos/assisted tackles. (His high is only 122, 120, & 115 with Phil). He had 2 forced fumbles which equaled his career high. And he had 1 interception which equalled or exceeded four of his 6 seasons.
This "obviously" would help the Rams at LB even if Duncan isn't released - which frankly boggles the mind why it hasn't happened yet. Trotter's release puts him in poorer bargaining position then when he originally signed with Wash. so salary cap issues should be navigatable.
Snyder didn't know what he was doing in acquiring Candidate and he also, I submit, didn't know what he was doing in releasing Trotter.
I'd like a really cogent reason from the FO why they don't release Duncan and pick up Trotter.-

by tomahawk247Renaldo Wynn is to be released along with a whole host of Redskin players. He could be a very solid starter opposite Leonard Little, and he played very well for Washington last year. He might be quite cheap as well.
