Re: Where's Orlando Pace?
The Poston's have brainwashed our hero and are keeping behind locked doors telling him to wait for a hypothetical $12MM signing bonus.
....which, now that I read this again - may be closer to the truth than the joke it started out to be.

Re: Where's Orlando Pace?
Pace's little team bash Friday night was his way of tellin the boys, see ya next year if thet don't trade me first. What a BUM !!! Too bad no one will trade for him, knowing they won't be able to sign him either. I like Pace's play at Left tackle as well as any Rams fan, but he's all about Orlando, and not about my team. JERK

Re: Where's Orlando Pace?
we should really have traded him before the draft.... we are suckers for trying to keep him happy when we should be thinking team harmony and the longer term. Even after we sign him, the problem will unlikely go away.
We could have built a very solid OL this offseason with the cash relesaed from Pace... instead we are likely to end up with an inbalanced OL.

Re: Where's Orlando Pace?
No need to sign until after Thursday anyway now. Martz has said he won't play even if he signs. Why cause more of a distraction now? I predict he signs the tender Friday morning. By week 4, he has a long term contract, with about $20 million of guaranteed money over a 5 or 6-year contract. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Re: Where's Orlando Pace?
I expect Pace to sign his tender by this weekend. It's too late for him to play in the Oakland game, which I think is what he was trying to avoid. Now that he's basically out of the line-up for that, I would expect him to sign and show up. I'd be surprised if he wasn't signed by Monday.
