PACE FILES TERMINATION OF AGENTS: When Rams Pro Bowl left tackle Orlando Pace finally signed his one-year tender earlier this week, his agents, the controversial Poston brothers, said that they were the ones who "encouraged him to come in and sign the one-year tender." Said Carl Poston: "But I can't make the big fellow come in. He's frustrated with the team."
It turns out, when Pace signed, he did so without his agents.
FOXSports.com has learned that Pace had actually filed a termination letter with the NFL Players Association ceasing their relationship. Thus, Pace may be a free agent yet again — a free agent in the agent market.
Calls to Pace through the team have not yet been returned. It is unclear if this is a permanent change or whether the two sides will get back together. If there is an actual termination then Rams officials should be licking their chops to get the big man locked up long-term.
