What is the worst score that a team can win a game by?

2-0? No, that would not be entirely bad, as it would mean that the defense had a great game, pitching a shutout and scoring a safety.

How about the other extreme? Like, say... 55-51. Again, that would be a mixed bag. Horrible game by the defense, great game by the offense.

What about somewhere in the middle? Like 21-20? Well, in that case, both the offense and the defense would have had decent, if unspectacular, games.

So what is the worst winning score?

Maybe... just maybe... there are no truly bad winning scores...

Actually, I can remember one.

42-20, and we took a knee at the 1.

Why was that bad? Because we could have, and should have, put it in for one more time like they did to us soooooo many times.

Having tickets to the Rams and Whiners at the 50. The final score is - Beloved Rams 49 - Whiners 0.

But you had to give your tickets away because your sister was getting married.

Now that is a bad winning score!
