Instead of a fake to the rb and handoff to the t.e.- lets see faulk and jackson in the power eye double t.e. ... lots of options in that formation . As martz gains confidence in the kid, look out! Its like a mad scientist with a new secret formula.
I'm sick of that freakin' tight end rushing play. It hardly ever works, and Martz always seems to run it when we need the yards the most. Yeah, Mike, I too think it's funny to see a big fat guy running a reverse and trying to bumble ahead for the first down, but not when it's third down. Not cool, Mike, throw that one away. Please.
I agree to in fact I just posted something about that I prefer that SJ get the ball and go with him because the TE are too easy to tackle, or I would prefer another play instead of that, even a screen pass or a run from Bulger, or snap directly to Faulk
Well, the Rams gained two yards on first and second down trying to pound the ball with Jackson. The tight end reverse wasn't a great call, but it's not like Martz didn't try to push it over the goalline two downs prior. Regardless, I agree that I'd prefer to see it removed from the RZ section of the playbook.
